The Program is available to all individuals residing in any of the 50 United States or District of Columbia. In order to participate in the Program, you must sign up by providing your information at https://lendkey.getambassador.com/, and agreeing to these official rules and the applicable terms and conditions and privacy policy on the website. Once you have signed up, you will receive an email with directions on how you can earn rewards by referring your friends, family, and direct personal acquaintances. The directions will include a referral link to the loan application that you can share with the people who you refer. In order for you to be eligible for a reward, the individual who you referred must apply for a loan via the referral link in the email that you will share. Advertised rewards are earned when the person you refer applies for a student loan refinancing via the referral link you provide, and then is approved, accepts and receives such loan. The person(s) who you refer may be eligible for a one-time reward. As is required in order to qualify for your reward, (i) the person(s) must be a first-time borrower via LendKey’s platform, (ii) he/she must have applied for the loan via the referral link in the email that you share with him/her; and (iii) the loan must be approved and accepted in order for him/her to receive the reward. Earned referral rewards are solely provided via PayPal.com within four weeks of loan approval or funding, which may require that you have a PayPal account or set up a new account prior to receiving the reward. PayPal is not affiliated in any way with the Program.

You will only receive a reward following the first time that an individual who you refer receives a student loan refinancing via the referral link shared by you. Therefore, you will not receive another reward in the event that the individual referred by you applies for and/or obtains an additional loan product via LendKey’s platform. Additionally, you will not be eligible for a reward if the person who you refer has previously received a loan via LendKey’s platform. Please note that you cannot refer yourself and you will not receive a reward in the event that you attempt to do so. The Program is limited to student loan refinancing offered via LendKey’s platform, and you will not receive any reward for referring any other loan product offered on the platform. If you participate in the Program, you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, email and anti-spam laws. Providing the link for commercial purposes or otherwise via bulk email distribution, social media, or with the assistance of a hired third party is strictly prohibited, and sharing of the link shall be limited to your friends, family, and other direct, personal acquaintances who you have reason to believe would have an interest in a student loan refinancing. LendKey reserves the right in its sole determination to prohibit any email or social media distribution of the referral link.

You acknowledge that your participation in the Program is solely as an independent contractor, and that it does not constitute any type of employment relationship, nor shall it be considered or construed to be a partnership or joint venture. Any compensation/benefits received in connection with your participation in the Program is limited to the advertised rewards that you earn by following the rules set forth herein. Additionally, the activities you conduct as part of your participation in the Program shall be limited to providing the referral link to your friends, family, and direct personal acquaintances, and you agree to not solicit and/or accept applications on behalf of LendKey or any of its participating lenders, or assist individuals with completing loan applications. Each participant in the Program is solely responsible for any taxes on any reward received in connection with the Program, and if applicable, you may receive an IRS Form in the event that your rewards exceed a certain dollar amount. If a reward goes unclaimed for 120 days, such reward will be considered forfeited and cancelled. By participating in the Program, you agree to release, and hold LendKey, its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, representatives, advertising agencies, and Program administrator harmless from any and all liability, injuries, losses, and damages that result, directly or indirectly, in connection with the Program, including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and court costs. LendKey, in its sole discretion, has the right to disqualify any participant who LendKey determines has not followed these rules or is otherwise not eligible. The Program replaces any previous referral program offered by LendKey and is effective as the date set forth below.
